Lily and I were kindred spirits as they say. Among other things we bonded on was our mutual love of animals and disdain for then president George W. Bush. (Lily gave me a tee shirt once that had the international "NO" symbol, red circle with the line through it over his four letter name).
Lily lost here battle with cancer in May of 2005. She was never one to complain about her illness and preferred not to talk about it. Lily fought for things she could change and accepted the things she couldn't. She left behind a loving husband Lew, and son Miko. She also left a piece of herself in her book: I AM, Visions from Lily's Pad. It's a wonderful collection of poetry and prose by an equally wonderful human being. Happy birthday Lily...

Hey, Wil & I are in conversation if Holmen will be a tour stop in July... the door is always open though the day the might pass thru might be an awkward date.
