Our friend Claudia Russell has a new live CD (her third) out called Live Band Tonight recorded in part at Freight & Salvage. You can listen to song samples on her website http://www.claudiarussell.com/ While her studio work is nothing less than brilliant, I am anxious to hear this CD, as my first introduction to her (and Bruce) was a performance at the Black Hawk Folk Festival three years ago. And the great news is that she is coming back this summer! She and Bruce will be staying with us after the show so maybe they'll even be some picking on the back deck.
